Pyro's were allowed in the UKM upon till the end of last season as demonstrated by CPL07 at the Welsh Open ... shame it got outlawed

but yes there definitly used to be a dead mans walk rule which directly quoted the term DMW

About the hand-on-head rules:

28.10 Players that are eliminated, immediately upon their elimination, shall:
1. Signal their elimination by putting one hand onto their head as long as the
player is not in the dead box.

But then....

- First offense of failure to obey a referee’s instructions
- First offense to put their hand on their head after being eliminated.

So it appears that not putting your hand on your head is almost playing on, but not really quite

There were DMW's in the Millenium and in the Intercontinental Cup, whether the rules will be changed I dont know, but one thing you can expect is alot of 'love' after!

One way to make sure you dont cause any argument is ask for a paint check and tell the marshall you will be doing it. As you've asked for the check they shouldn't signal clean/eliminated so commence with picking up your pots and walking towards the other team looking pretty down.

Fair play if you pull it off, you'd have to be clever as well as lucky, but if it wins you a crucial point when you're the last man, you'll be a hero

I used not to but now I shoot any guy leaving the field who doesn't have the hand on his head... I don't like it but the way rules are written I'm forced to do so.
