star reg velocity screw

nah, i got the gun a wee while ago and it had just bn stripped n made nice and the velocity's been low since gettin it, even with dwell really high. Pretty sure there's something up...

THough it has only been cold when i've used it.... last weekend wasnt that cold tho i wouldn't have thought.

If the reg isnt teh problem...and it sounds like it isnt, as why would it only do it for one shot?

I would look at teh next option.

In order for the shot to drop off, the rammer has to hit the valve with less force.

So...I suggest that teh problem may lay, with your front QEV or possbly rear.

I say front as it could be acting as a air spring if not venting, thereby slowing teh rammer down.

Just a thought...

Yeah...bit fiddly.

Take out the rammer housing..and the bits in it, so you can get to things...also gives you a chance to check hoses for leaks etc.

On the opposite side of the qev to the barb, is a round..erm..plug...with a hole in...gently grab that with some suitable pliers and turn.

When you get it out, pop out the black rubber thingy...clean it all..pop back in...job done.

Solenoid!

got it looked at and is seems the solenoid's been drilled with the old Hybrid grips. anybody have a spare back bit of it lying about the place? or a whole one you might be willing to part with?

will be at masters at the weekend and would be ace if i could get my gun working for that... heard it helps
