Look on PBN for examples of powdercoating, I haven't seen a powdercoated marker I've liked yet, but up to you.

The white (or as close to as anno allows) would look great, I just don't like powdercoat & I think you'd be disappointed.

Edit: actually ions are powdercoated?
Meh, maybe I've only seen badly done ones.

im looking for an honest opinion as i saw the white powder coat and thought that is cool cause its true white, ive talked to both companies and not sure wot to go for as i love my dm5 with the CANADIAN FLAG but the white of the powder coat looks so much better???????

the first one is powder coat and the CANADIAN FLAG is anno
I know.

With powdercoat you can get closer to white, but I still prefer anno.

Powdercoat isn't as durable as anno I have seen a few guns that were powdercoated that started to flake after awhile. On top of that they both looked painted even when they were first done.

The only advantage powercoat has over anodizing is? Possibly being able to come out titanium white! But thats not much of an advantage.

Typically its about half the cost of anodizing, and its a good finish for pieces that can't be anodized or have been battered so badly they aren't worth the metal prep to fix. It looks much more paintlike than anodizing, and for that reason people tend to shy away from it. My personal inclination is also towards anodizing, but powdercoat is a good finish in the right application.
