Ok this isn't a marshall bashing exercise this is an opinion / querie about a consistency on one small aspect.

Pack shoots if the reffs are going to call 141s of pack shots then shouldent all the reffs call them all the time one one ref does and one doesnt. i dont mind 141st if there consistent.

one the first game we played we got a 141 for a player hit on the pack the ref said it was are responcibility to tell that player he was hit  when im playing i tend to look at the guy at the other end of the field shooting at me not my own team. same field diffrent ref same situation later in the day not a game i was in the ref just pulled the player if there going to pull 141s on pack shoots make it all fields all the time not just when the reff feals like it.

33.03 Assessment of the one-for-one penalty (in addition to the player who committed the infraction being eliminated an additional player will be eliminated) will take place for the following infractions (not only limited to):
-Continuing to play with a hit in an obvious location
- Continuing to play with an unobvious hit that has become an obvious hit because the player has become aware of it

magic, is technically right. With there being no self check zone, i.e your shot anywhere and play on, you are 1-4-1 and so on. The decision on places like the pack, very front of the gun do count. The marshals are always asked to show a little common sense in this area. You can always feel 1 shot in the pack, so be leniant. But on the other hand, if a player has 15 up his pack he is going to know he is shot.

Should common sence come in to it. Is my point if one reff is going to go by the letter and one is going to use common sense. Could a team be disadvantaged if they have the reff thats idea of playing on is different to the other end.

with refs common sense, should never come in to it :D. Its not my call as to common sense of a ref, but think about this. You get tagged in an open pack flap. You havnt heard it, didnt feel it, refs havnt seen it, your the last man in, hang the flag, you get 1-4-1'd for something that is completely out of your hands and the refs havnt done a thing about it all game. Should common sense prevail?
