only need a little bit of lube like a blob on your finger not much.i put on so it was white but not thick white if you know what i meanmedium layer it was slightly clear lol
Yeah, you want to try something winter-friendly like Dow33. If the lube is freezing slightly in the cold then it would explain the leak out the breach as the bolt cannot cycle completely so is stuck slightly forward, leaving a gap down the side for air to escape out of.
As suggested it could also be a pressure issue, so dismantling the reg and lubing it up would be a good idea.

hello fella had this problem myself was because of the weather. turn ure dwell up about 4 or 5 flashes and this should sort it. also take ure bolt out and de lube it
i used dow 33 'monkey spunk' i'll try and take some off tonight when i get home, it was fine untill i greased it so how would the weather cause it if i turn up the dwell i need to lower rof? thanks

weather is too cold causes lubes to become thicker causing bolt stick. taking up the dwell up 4/5 shouldnt need you to fiddle to much with ROF.
I sometimes get a bit of bolt stick on my Dm3, been told it's due to over pressuring the bolt, make sure the gauge on the gun is below 200psi or yu'll start blowing hoses etc - my Ion runs around 160-180 on the gauge
Failing that the usual things like changing the battery, too much lube / not enough lube, o-rings etc.
