Just stripped my ego down and the qev valve is sheered of from the bolt at the back??? any ideas how much a bolt would cost etc

this happened with me , i snaped 2 qev's ,

i sent it to eclipse

and they charged for the tiem taken to repair
the qev's
and new rammer cap , which wasn't even broken :mad: :mad:

in all cost me 40 quid for it repaired and sent back to me

James - have you spoken to PE about being charged for the rammer cap?

did you have to get a new bolt that the qev screws into??? if si did they charge you...

then they need to sort the air leak out...think that coming from the exhaust valve somewere...hope thats just an o ring or something

if it was the exhaust valve leaking itself...then...itd be the exhaust valve, not an oring.

worth taking the marker apart and ceaning the valve area and lubing the orings of the LPR housing.

as for the sheared QEV stem ,you can get them out yourself but if you want to save a headache potentially eclipse will sort you out.
