I use a standard 6-battery-pack too - I don't know how 2 more AA batteries would cause it to jam more :p

As I say above, try putting your anti-jam spring into Halo B to see if it makes a difference.

I may have read it wrong but he says the problem is with the one that *has* the spring in already.

All I can think of is the eyes, OR, the spring under the drivecone (this is what caused similar problems with mine)

Had the exact same problem yesterday bud.

Tried 3 different loaders (cuz I have 3) and all seem to have the same problem. Changed the batteries and still no joy.

Lent one to a friend who put his own batteries in and the dam thing worked fine all day with no problem.

So , maybe MY "NEW" batteries weren't that new after all:rolleyes:

I do remember having a similer problem in the cold weather last year though.

Probably not much help but something to try.

All the best,

Simon:cool:

I had a drive cone oscillating due to wear, and one of its blades clipping ever so slightly and only every so often hitting the opening into the feed neck, again producing the red/green flashing indicating a jam, absolutely no problem without paint in it and pretty damn good when putting paint straight through it in free fall.

But by the sounds of things it looks like your drive cone spring wasnt under enough tension
