I doubt we will see a US pro team play, the CPL and SPL leagues are locked divisions unless they wish to purchase a spot from an existing team and then they would have to commit to attend every event.
And if they won them all, they may not even cover their collective expenses.

The best chance we have got of seeing high level pros is as individual guests on teams, you will see a few of them during the season.
