Interesting that you would want to 'alter' the main thing stopping your bottle killing you - or even worse, someone else .

I wonder what warranty/legality/insurance people would say on this. Surely, if it does go tits up - you would be liable (as opposed to the manufacturer).

Not slating you Ian - just curious as to why you would want to.

you can change parts of the reg over im sure thats why i asked to make double sure on exacty which parts.

reason being, the way my new oops is, when it screws in, the fill nipple is stabbing me in the wrist.

Are you not able to rotate the bottle back a touch to get the nipple out of the way, or will that cause leaks on your setup?

yeah but then the fill nipple points up at the lcd
meaning its harder to fill.

its for an 07 ego, so i dont want to switch the oops cheers

I think you will be surprised how far back you could rotate it...a full 180 back from where it stops should be fine...its still safe once air is in it, assuming it dont leak it will lock up tight.

this is so gay, on mine the fill nipple points directly down... so i have to spin everything upside down to read the guage

it kinda change's because of what on/off tank combo your using?

i take it Ego and PMI Combo tho? i had the same issue with my PM6 and a PMI tank
