Boring...old news!

You're way behind the times guys, this was last year. It's all done and dusted now.

The way the outcome was explained to me is that our Royal Family (Princes Charles, William and Harry have visited DF on 4 or 5 occasions) took objection to an endorsement which IPG used on their tickets. This was an excerpt from a letter written by the Royal Nanny thanking Delta Force for a wonderful day. This is a genuine letter with the Royal Family's crest/seal etc - i have seen this, in case you're wondering...

IPG had taken over the sale of tickets for DF in early 2006 but the tickets at that stage had not been updated.

The court upheld that IPG could not use this endorsement because it had been given to Delta Force, not IPG, a third party. Consequently the reference to the Royals' visits have been removed from IPG advertising.

There may still be reference to 'Royalty' but this is because some of the royal family of Saudi Arabia play with us regularly..even going so far as to make gifts of jewellery to our marshals :) But then they ARE loaded ;) We have also had King Constantine of Greece and his party play with us, so we are entitiled to use 'Royalty'.

Hope that answers your Q's and stops the usual gosssipmongering surrounding anything DF related :)

??? which is what i said...

but maybe i should have explained more fully.....

DF used their royal endorsement for years and years on their own advertising material without issue, but when IPG (acting as a third party and therefore not entitled to use the endorsement) took over the ticket selling for DF, then the royal family objected to the endorsement being used, as it was not given to IPG.
