Jamming Halo!

Hi guys,

In testing my marker I loaded up my Halo earlier with ~100 reballs and let rip at a pillow, but the loader must've jammed at least 4 times before I got all the way through. I'm not sure whether this is because I was using reballs instead of paint, but it still seems a bit odd and something I need to get sorted.

As for specs, the Halo has a V35 board in it along with the standard anti-jam beads and also one of those anti-jam springs that sits just behind the beads. The eyes are clean and working fine, and I had it on speed setting 3 (around 22bps).

Any suggestions greatly appreciated on what could be the problem.

Cheers,

-Will

Yeah, I understand what you mean. The batteries I'm using are reasonably new, but not fresh. Will give the reballs a good clean and try again - I guess if they're a bit dirty they could stick together easier, and not flow as well as I'd like.

Thanks for the pointers Tom.

EDIT: 3 replies in the time it took me to post that...I'm getting slower :p

I had serious halo jamming problems, on both of my halos. It turned out that it was down to both dirty eyes and buggered batteries. Check both thoroughly.

Also apparently sometimes Halos/Reloaders etc jam up when using reballs for some reason, i dont know much about that but a few people have been buying eggs lately for reball training cos of it
