reg to bottle

I get the feeling that manufacturers loctite bottles to regs, to avoid any chance of a seperation, and avoid the possibility of legal action taken against them.
As far as i know there is no legal requirement to loctite the bottle to a reg.

ive got a micro max flow reg and i just screw the bottle on ?
I thought that was the point - surely this is the case for other presets too, that screw into an asa.

the pressure and the orinng prevent it coming unscrewed under normal conditions.

As far as i know there is no legal requirement to loctite the bottle to a reg.
There is something in some guidelines, that states something about a suitable seal, but that would be the obligatory o-ring.
