hi guys thought id start a comparison between the halo and egg hoppers coz im bored and im very much considering getting a halo instead of my egg if i get the money to do so lol.

EGG
for: cheap, works, good starter hopper, the shape can sometimes incourage deflections, can wipe hits off

against: big, clumsy, weak, not very fast, look abit daft, battery door brakes alot

HALO
for: fast, small, good upgrades, looks good, can be fed by hand should battery fail in game,

against: expensive, square, a hit is a hit lol, cant wipe:eek:

give your ideas aswel guys

Halo:

For: battery door not as dodgy as the egg's, easily removable shells for cleaning.

Against: if u get paint in the shell u have to remove the entire shell, uses a lot of AA's :D

Egg:

For: reasonable upgradable boards, easier to clean.

Against: Battery door is poop, noisy :),

Couple of things. I dont think that eggs particularly encourage bounces, at least no more than a halo, unless someones using rock hard paint its prettymuch always gonna break on your loader...

Secondly, Halos are blooming easy to wipe lol. If anything I'd saytheyre easier than an Egg as the shells are square to the gun so if pressed up against a bunker paint can be wiped off very easily... Or so I'm told.

used all three and straight down it has to be the pulse

havent had any problems what so ever and the lifespan of the batteries compared to what the halo does....is unbelieveable

agree but the pulse is slightly smaller except from its back

but that is awesome the way you can just take it out and clean it

Egg

In defence of the poor old egg..... I have an egg with z-board and the battery mod and have purchased one of the camo covers from LiPS, and have also cut the feedneck down to minimise it's profile.

I have had no problems with my egg whatsoever and the camo cover promotes a small amount of bounce. Admittedly you can't hand feed the paint if the batteries fail, but I suppose if your really desperate you could just throw it away and feed paint in one at a time by hand.... if you so desire.....:D

Oh and still on my same set of batteries after 6 solid days of pballing and a couple of hours of messing about. Total paint in this time = about 18,000 at a guess?
