Quick Sp8/Ion Bolt Upgrade Question

What is regarded as the best aftermarket bolt for the SP8? I think the Firebolt is the answer but just wanted to be 100% on it.

i run a firebolt, but others are using the l7 and orange nano. they seem to get better effeciency but a little less consistency in fps. no real difference evident in cycle times tho'.

I would have said the Lucky stage 1 bolt personally, not a huge fan of the firebolt myself, although it is ment to be the one that allows the lowest dwell setting

actually that'd be the L7, guys on ionowners that run dwell of 8 (on stock and blackheart boards) with around a 100-120psi input pressure..... although they're tricky to get hold of in the uk, ie order direct from US

I would choose the Lucky Stage 1 over the TechT L7 as I don't like the tail-less style. But having a low dwell etc also depends on other factors not just the bolt.

true there are other factors such as how quickly your QEV vents air, and the natural differences in machining on the various parts.. and i agree i prefere the lucky bolt as well but only when its part of the whole setup
