Anyone know how to remove the lid on suicide shells and retrofit a speed feed? Dont want to break the lid/spring in case I want to sell at a later date etc...

Ok, still cant get the b@stard out! :| Which way are you supposed to push the pin? i cant seem to get it to budge...

I have done 4 mate and they all came out easy.
Do as beaker says and try from both sides. I dont think it matters as the ones I done all came out easy.

I think the pin on mine has rusted in the middle or something. Ive bent two large needles on it now :|
How hard did you have to hit it nige?
hybrid used to warrenty all there shells for cracks and breaks, but when the speed feed came out, people just broke off the lid, then in a tourne wen there was heavy rain they take off the speed feed and get a new shell for free, hybrid say no to that now, only thin u can claim on is major crackin on the shell, so be careful wen ur takin ur lid off
its pretty hard tom but it can be done. best thing to do is try and find another top with a lid on, and then just swap the tops when it rains thats the best way to do it imo. costs more but saves on time.
