I always found angel air to fit comfortably in my shoulder. Yes it was a bit on the heavy side, but very comfortable and consistent.

Would not change from a preset now, but still...........

Ian - I doubt the AIR is useless (or even 'near useless') - as it's an electronic HP and LP reg all in one (and I have NEVER had any problems with mine). But I do conceed that it is a waste to put such a heavy reg on a light marker. It will upset the balance of the marker and probably won't feel right. This is the main reason I didn't put one on my sons ION.

near useless in the fact that like the older manifold maxflos, they are prone to leaking, and the requirement for a battery to tell the pressure is unhelpful if you were to have a flat sometime. Added to this, they look pretty crap too.

what difference does that make? surely its the bottle size and physical location of the reg (defned by the rail position) that denotes how comfortable the marker can be held by the user?

I use the angel air system on my IR3, granted it's a bit heavy but it's easy to use and doesn't leak. I think they look OK but that just my opinion.
