Well no disrespect to the players down in the south west but you should get him up to Dartford as much as possible and train with Dave, myself and Team NK and watch the likes of Nexus, shockwave and Tigers all of which train at Dartford!!!
even tho im from bath i completely agree with you south east an the north have a really good training grounds and its worth taking the journey for it no SW teams are top of NSPL are they?

He's a bit young to be worrying about exams yet.
true, but i still managed to cock up my gcse's compared to what i was meant to get, and because i havent had the time to do them, ive already dropped 3 of the 6 a-levels i am taking. and dont think im doing too well in physics, but am holding my own in chemistry and maths...

even if he isn't the brightest kid in the world, make sure he understands that both these sets of exams will/have the potential to decide his future, and that paintball isn't life, even if it is damn addictive. there is a world that he'll need to get a job in, and there is little chance he can keep his above water just by playing paintball unless he manages to find a hard working and understanding mrs ;) :D

hope some of that has helped :)

Rubbish Tommeh!!
If we had done HG4 and had one good result at any SE leg (which we didnt do as its too far to travel) We would definately been second and maybe of even won div 2.
And thats for a team that scraped around for players for EVERY round, (as there is still only 4to5 main players) Average age is 38, dont train, and only get together once a month.
Perhaps that means there is no competition in the NSPL!!
Plus we have NO desire to play div 1 for money, as I give all our prizes away!!! And either way we will be playing div 1 at SW legs anyway.
I put our results down to a few things.
1. We all enjoy playing
2. We have SOLID backing from PLANET ECLIPSE
3. We are all GREAT friends.
Now back to the main reason for this thread!!!
If Bob learns the basics and goes along to see Twizz and the boys at Dartford or Markie and the lads at NQ, Robbo's or Nicky Ts clinics. He will learn loads. He needs to keep the fun aspect and not have it all handed to him on a plate. Make him do odd jobs to help pay so when he is playing he can take it on board he earnt it himself.
Dont play him at the back Nick (he is not large and lazy like you!!!):D
Bob enjoys playing, so that will help
He has got an EGO, so that will give him confidence:p
He has some good friends in paintball already. (me being one of them!!:p )
Also like I said in a thread somewhere else,
Keep him away from the KNOBBERS in the sport that wont help him!!!
There are some great guys in paintball who will help him a lot Nick,
See you next week

Nige no disrespect but that is Division 2, and yeah you dont train much or have enough core players to field a team but i think you will find the quality of players at dartford to be very very high, as Twizz said you will have teams like Nexus, Shock, Tigers, Stealers, NK, Irritant and so on and if he has the desire to improve (which im sure he does) Dartford is the place for him to be, end of story.
