As far away from you as possible
the thing that annoys me about woodsball is when 'men' start dressing like real army men  and why have a marker that immitates a real gun  paintball isnt real, so why pretend it is  anyone agree/disagree? not that they shouldnt do it, just want to see what people think.
Don't get me started on military simulation paintball, we will literaly be here all day, I know plent of people including myself that play woods and crave for a n official competitive leauge.

I think a lot of woodsballers are picking up on the competitive nature that woodbal is takin gup again, why shouldn't our side of the sport be well...............a sport?

At the moment im not balling for at least a year, but I know where i'll always want to play and it's got lots of trees in...........and cammo(because it works ).

Woodsball is also a slower learning curve than tornement paintball, if you want to be competitive in the woods there are now more and more options because certain places recognise this fact.

Not debating who takes what seriously, i'm just stating why I think there is an increase in the woodsball tornement idea.

The funny things is that if everybody was as serious about paintball as they say they are, you wouldn't be in the slump you are in now...
So forgive me if I'm a little cynical.
does it really matter at the end of the day

all these people going im in the 10%

its like saying "my dads better than your dad" or "my girlfriend swallows"
its not a competition.
who gives a ****
if you really like playing and you are aiming to take it to whatever level who the hell has the right to lambast people into feeling like they have to justify themselves.

life isnt black and white. there isnt committed and uncommitted. the palate isnt limited to two tones. there are many shades of grey. i for one am fcuking bored of seeing various alumni of the scene giving people ultimatums like the one above. who is the one paying out to play? to travel? to train and compete? answer - the invidual.

now, unless said individuals are playing for *your* team and you are asking them to make commitments, then you have no real right to make out that they are wasting there time. thats how i read a lot of this drivel. frankly i find it wholly patronising and unneeded.

the individuals owe said "alumnis of the scene" absolutely zero.
i find the kinda talk i read frequently on these forums to be verging on highly derogatory and negative, not least counter productive.

makes me wanna "hang up my cleats" as they say.

just my thoughts.
