The First Event in our Winter Series at Warped is our 3 Man Bedlam Tournament at Cosford on the 14th of January 07 and is being covered by the Express and Star news.

A reporter and photographer will be on site for the day to do an article the Cosford site and the rec ball scene and do player interviews between games.

This Event will be limited to 12 Teams, on a first come first served basis.

The Cost is £55.00 per player, this includes 1 box of 2000 Paint, all Air fills and tournament entry, any Paint thereafter will be sold at £30.00 per box or £15.00 a 1000.

Format, There will be 4 teams on a field with a center flag, you must fight to get the center flag for the Bonus points, but also try and collect as many flags as you can off the other 3 opposition Teams on the field {this will take balls!!!!!)Trust me.

That sounds like a pretty fun game format actually, is it sup air or woodland?

Why is it stupid formats where 4-teams all play each other at the same time manage top get press coverage...

Yet sup'air paintball doesn't...

The novelty of the above format would wear thin within a matter of minutes...

As for being in the media, maybe they're just trying a little bit harder to get in the papers than supair? (I'm not talking about the whole getting supair on tv thang, just on a local level)
Good for warped getting press coverage! I don't see sup air in the paper ever, but I've seen warped & jim in the E&S, giving a good impression of the game & themselves, a couple of times. They were out in the town centre a couple of months ago for a publicity thang as well.

I was pretty surprised to see a piece about...camel racing (??) in the paper, and a calender for extreme ironing (??) http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h84/92rt095/18-11-06_1446.jpg in a small shop near me. We're not in the media, in the papers, because tho people are making an effort to get us on tv & such at a higher level, no one's really getting thru on a lower level. Wood ball, Camel racers & extreme ironers have obviously beaten us supair'ers on that.......says it all really?

anyway back to the point of the thread,

I played it a while ago & I really enjoyed it actually, and I don't like normal woodball much- it's not as naff as you're making it out to be.

Also if you look at the paint price (£30), it's much better than normal wood ball where it goes up to £60 a box at some places.
