Having trouble removing one of my board pins. They should slide out easily and I have double checked with zdspb but the lower one in my frame will not. Should I just line it up hit it with a hammer or does anyone have any better ideas?
If it is stuck that would suggest that something else is holding it in, i.e. maybe a bit of loctite or something. I would suggest very gently trying to tapp it through with a hammer and some small tool e.g. very small screw driver.
On all the shockers I have ever had these pins have never stuck and are normally a little loose.
i found a great use for the xmas cracker gifts, the coloured screwdriver sets have a punch in, i use one of them for my SFT, if not, a little oil could loosen it
i use a hammer and a thumb tack (the one with the plastic coloured handle so you can just hold it and lightly tap it) works a treat every time, even when one was clogged with grit
