Hi all thought id get my old ego out and have a play with it,
all was well until i took the bolt out and ,now the thing doesnt sound rite, nar fire as fast??

changed the battery ,cleaned it up and theres no leaks any place...

had another try and it worked, then next time it doesnt?

could the bolt not be in rite?

any clues would help

cheers

Firstly see if your purge is connecting with your bottle pin ok.
Check that your belville springs are clean and in the correct order in your front reg. You wouldnt believe how many EGO's I have had handed to me with missing springs and in some weird order.
Lube your rammer with correct oil.
Check your lpr hosing isnt trapped in the grip frame and your macroline hosing isnt kinked
check your velocity screw isnt dialled down too far.
Oh and put it back to factory settings
Try that for starters

set your settings as such:

pull 3ms
rel 1ms
ball 2ms
empty 1ms

filters tt band 75%
tt tol 8%

im assuming you have an 05 spec ego and stock board

set rof to 15bps in all cases (i think it was labelled offrof on most 05 board revisions).

lube your rammer as stated, with synthetic gun oil.
if i doubt change the rear #11 oring on the rammer

ensure your bolt has the inlet hole face down in the breach - if youve taken the bolt apart it is technically possible to put it together wrong, as unlikely as it sounds, admittedly. when you insert the bolt, look down the bolt slot and see where the rammer is located. when gassed up, the rammer location should be at the rear of the gun. put you bolt in and click the bolt pin down onto the rammer at this point.

with the marker degassed, unsrew the reg adjuster all the way out, then screw in 3.5 turns. this should ensure your marker is at the right ball park operating pressure. set the LPR adjuster screw on the front under the barrell flush with the lpr cap body at the end.

oh and more than anything CHANGE THE BATTERY FOR A NEW DURACELL
