Predictions for 07 season

So what you are trying to tell us is that the last remaining spot will be going to a Danish team

And please do not give me all this mumbo jumbo that the two teams in there are Scandanavian and try and give me this Nordic pride rubbish.

Straight answer yes or no will suffice

The Scandinavian paintball community is really a community - norwegian, swedish and danish teams play events and practice against eachother all the time.

My own team, is only Danish by virtue of me being a dane - more than half the players are swedish.

Anyway, there are a lot of very good Scandinavian teams out there, that will try and clinch the top 3 spots to qualify for SPL 08 - and yes, we are most definitely one of them... but there are others like Preatorians, DOW2, Charms, Royal, Armageddon, Popstars, the former Ugly Ducklings that formed a new team (name yet unknown), and so on.

If you want me to put it another way - 5 og the top 10 in Div. 1 will be Scandinavian teams.

As coach and team owner, I ofcourse believe in the abilities of my boys - but nothing is guaranteed in paintball, so time will show.... and talk is cheap

I have not taken offence, I am not actually English, Scottish or Welsh and like to see European teams doing well (and in that I include Scandanavian oh and French).

As far as the Nordic area goes I have seen as a breeding ground of some fantastic players .... all the way back to the time that the Ducklings won the World Cup in Toulouse and when NBK were the hottest up and coming property (shows how old I am and how long I have been playing)

So tell me will one of these teams getting a top 3 slot be DANISH, either by virtue that the Captain is Danish so the team is also deemed so, or the fact that it is a pure blood Danish team.

As there are alot of very good Div 1 of old Scandanvian teams out there from last year like Solid the Maharajas, and as you all play so closely together I feel it should be very easy to be bold enough to say YES!!!!!!! and even bolder for you to say who you have your money on!!!! Perhaps even a little wager Mr BD you name a Danish team and I will name a UK team and we will see who places higher.

So come my friend name your stake and place your bet!!!!

If I have to name a UK team then it would have to be the South Coast Stellers


So the bet stands I guess if the Beserks come higher than the Steelers then you win....... all that needs to be named now is the bet.

Actually just checked something with someone and need to make sure the team I choose is doing all of the events so not sure about Steelers, I will have to have a word about a new team over here coming through and when it does I will confirm the name with Nick!

Dude - you are confused.

U have mentioned both Maharadjas, Solid and Steelers in this thread - and all 3 play in a different division from us next year

(and Maharadjas probably is no more).

Are you aware that Div. 1 is what was called Div. 2 this year - and SPL is what was called Div. 1 ?
