Pulse vs Empire

I have a reloader and it's been great - really pleased with it.


but I have not seen the pulse,


if you want to be able to clean inside a reloader quickly you could always get the suicide shells - they look awesome.

Really!? so the Pulse isn't actually 42bps out the box, then again I didn't believe that anyway

Actually it is 42 out of the box. You do not need the chip for this. In constant mode drop feed will be that. In firing on gun you will need the chip to get over the mechanical delay of the marker bolt firing but how many guns can actually fire this quick? We wasn't lying - honest guv!

Just got my G7 back with the RF chip installed.

Ramping

Doesn't seem to 'pulse' on every trigger pull. More like 6 out of 10. I've even moved the reciver to the opposite side of the loader to be nearer the transmitter.

Semi

Again, no 'pulse' with every pull. Most likely 8 out of 10 pulls.

Haven't tried it with any paint yet as I don't think the shops around mine would really appreciate it.

There seems to be some concern over Angels with the RF chip as there is only a very low current used through the solenoid wire. This is where the RF chip is 'spliced' into. Maybe there's not enough power for both, all of the time and maybe that's why it's not pulsing every shot.

Will find out tomorrow......

Russ - You're right the solenoid signal on the Angels is slightly lower on Stock boards. I did mention this was a look & see with your marker when I installed it. The Tadao Angel boards are all fully compatible however.

The other issue you could be suffering with is low battery power. If the battery is low on gun then the solenoid signal is lower and kirchoff's law kicks in. The power takes the easier route to ground and this will fire the solenoid.

Try changing the battery. If this gives you no luck, un plug the chip and I'll pick it back up.

I've been using one on my DM7 since World Cup and it works fine - no issues. I do change my battery every day though so I haven't witnised battery drain yet.

Pluse: from what iv seen its the best hopper out there....

The shells are great, they dont crack, spilt and the retaining screw's for the hopper dont crack the shell.

Feeds great, never missies a beat.

Empire pah.. once you have all tired the pulse ul know

On another note, Who cares how fast the things can feed... can anyone here fire 42bps??

and most tournies we play in the UK, our markers should ( ) be capped at 15??!! 42 is a bit overkill, if you ask me, sounds like a waste of battery!

Because the producer's need something that makes they're hopper better than the competition, and seeing as we have PLENTY selection of hoppers that forfill our need's of consistent 15bps feeding, while holding a fair amount of paint i spose the only attractive thing they can add to a new hopper it to make it spin nearly 3 times faster than we actually need it

But, I havn't heard ONE bad thing about the pulse as of yet. So i can only assume Procaps/Draxxuss have done a fokin' good job. But we shall see in time

Seriously, when you see me next at an event come over and have a go of one. You can then make an educated choice on what product is right for you, instead of relying on others own preference.
