Ion Project

Hi,

Was thinking of starting a little project, wondered if it was possible.

Can you build a Ion completely from after market parts? (No input from Smart Parts, AT ALL)

no, youre left with the front bottom banjo fitting, and the rear one... unless they come fitted onto the hoses on your aftermarket board; if so, then class it as aftermarket... and so it'd be a yes

using a element v2 frame you dont use the stock front fitting it comes with its own type.

i have a couple of ions that have 0 original parts.

Pyro you are looking at about 250 I guess. The peice you are going to find hard to get right now is the Element frame.

Sure there are some shady copies on sale (SITH etc) but nothing compares to the real thing.




The Ion design is awesome. It just needed a few tweaks and obviously better manufacturing and materials. If you choose the right parts, it will be the best gun you ever owned.
