Are elbow and knee bads really important for paintball?
I haven't really started playing tournies and they like so I wouldn't know...

And also how do I fit a QEV to my ion?

I find that my dye arm pads promote **cough** bounce **cough**

Well worth the money, has kept me in the game more than once

Knee pads are def worth it, if your diving and chucking yourself all over the place saves some quite nasty injuries

Yes mate, I wouldnt feel comfortable playing paintball without my knee pads, elbow pads and slide shorts on. You can do yourself a serious injury if u mess up a slide and you dont have the appropriate protection.


And as mentioned above, they help bouncing well worth the money just for that.

i find elbow and knee pads useful, especially when playing on astroturf.

There a must have if you dont you'll nacker your knees there are loads of pegs and they more oftern than not sicking wall above ground and trust me it hurts like hell when you crack your knee on them.

Oh and bounce is great had loads on my jts.

It's winter - it's rainy - it's wet

You dont need pads cos you can slide so easily - you might want football boots thou

I still wear them - but only for the reason dan stated

Summer is when you need pads - when the ground is rock-****ing-hard!!!

Dye knee pads are great they support my knees really well for I have week knees, as well as good for sliding

Hi dude,

IMO knee pads are just as important as a mask.

One of our team slid in to a bunker, hit the peg and took
a big chunk out of his knee. After seeing that, I always wear knee pads.
