where bouts in yorkshire mate... i be t' yorkshire too.
easy answer to that question is Northern quarters (manchester) next to the airport... look on the forums for events, theyre pretty regular and perfect for new people like you. also gives you the experience of holding decent guns for a decent price compared to all these "day out" sites.

Not far from Leeds centre pal !!! Really close to M62 and M1 so pretty easy access to anywhere

a walkon day is where you go to a site with your own kit (gun, air, hopper etc) and play against others with their own kit. Usually you'll pay a fee to play for the day which will include air fills and then you will buy/bring paint at about £25-£30 for 2000...

Rec ball is basically playing for fun rather than playing in a tournament or whatever to win something

i'm in leeds as well and there's two sites i've looked at so far, powerplay down in wakefield (or just below if i remember correctly) and Northern Quarter which is just outside manchester airport (you can get a train there from leeds for about £16.50 return)...NQ run regualr newbie days which are absolutely brilliant, i went to one a few weeks ago and it's a really good introduction to the tournament setup and powerplay do a lot of big scenario days which are also absurd amounts of fun...

hope that helps
