Get down to campaign also, they do walkons on the second sunday of the month and you can usually find players there with friends on teams. Other than that, if you want the teams, you have to show you're willing to get to them. I live in Canterbury (used to be Guildford) and seeing as my team only plays the masters, I have to drive to London and then take the bus/train up too manchester/lincoln/uttoexeter. I have a mate who is coming to d7's this weekend from Aberdeen. All of a sudden, I bet crossing London doesn't seem so far any more.
