Is there any difference on the SL66 trigger to the stock 06 trigger, except from they only have 3 adjustment points not 4? E.G Shape (wave) and if so can the SL66 trigger be purchased separately from planet.

the sl trigger is not available as a seperate part
the sl trigger has adjustments for pre and post travel and spring tension.
if you can source one, it will work only in 06 frames, not 05 frames of any description due to the location of the activation tab on the back.

the sl trigger is wider than the stock 06 trigger
it is also flatter than the stock o6 trigger.
i prefer the stock 06 trigger (personal preference)

Anyone with any 3rd party triggers? CP or FBM? Any good?

I just find it hard to walk the standard trigger, but before i switched to the ego i had a custom trigger made for me out of solid carbon fiber for my ion. The interesting thing was that it was a reverse wave trigger. Meaning that where it went out on the normal wave it went in and so on. I could walk that thing till the cows came home, but this is like pulling a brick up a hill with my fingers! I think mainly it might be the solid magnetic feel if the trigger. I might have to play around to see if i can find a happy medium. :(

Critical trigger is excellent and I happen to have a brand new one for £22 posted!

something you may want to look into is either

1 - a star frame, if you have an 05 ego. this adds spring return. currently, buiying new would get you an 06 star frame, so you would have the star trigger and maniac board affording you much more firing options and easier to decipher debounce software settings.

2 - if you have an 06 ego, there are lots of triggers around. the critical trigger is held in high esteem. cant comment on others.

3 - if you already have an 06 ego (sorry, i cant tell from what youve typed as you never said) remove the trigger magnet grub screw, and use just the spring. adjust the pre and post travel to taste. this is how i used to set up my 06 ego and it was very easy to shoot.

4 - try a microswich board. popular models are TADAO, virtue, lucky (with various chips). this will give you a more "tactile feel" to your trigger pull. make sure you get the correct spec of board for your ego (05 vs 06 is IMPORTANT)

Thats fine...although i am slightly amazed that planet put that in their manual (must check tonight), but the reason that i originally want to remove the magnet completely as this is a powerful magnet, i am not 100% convinced that removing the magnetic return screw will fix the problem. The initial trigger point screw is still in the gun and it is the same metal as the return spring so it also will be attracted to the magnet what ever you do.

So back the original question....how the feck do i get the magnet out?
Is is superglued in the 06' frame....or is it going to be a case of drillin the fecker out?

P.S. I am also going to give planet a call today as well. If i get any good advise i will pass it on. :D
