Laser engraving in the uk...

Anyone have a clue where i can get this done? The only cheap place i can find is a mod on ...... dare i say it (pbnation) who's offering simple designs for $35 - 40 which to me seems reasonable

They may do, last time I seen Jamie we were talking about it and he said they are still trying different people. Dont know if it sorted yet
Only place I know if they dont is FBM in t.he states. They done my A Bomb.

i think sloth can only do fades / 1 colour anno - as jamie said they were "experimenting" with differing visual techniques (tatoos + masks) but it isn't finalised yet plus $35 isn't all that much, seems like a good deal to me!

Yeah $35 sounds good if that is the charge for a basic design. If the guy is in the states think of shipping costs and time. Then the dreaded import tax, you know you will get hit with it if customs see anything to do with paintball. (i reckon they see it as an easy target)
By my own experience I wouldnt have it done. Younever get any extra for it if you sell and it is harder to re anno. Well it is if you have something done you really like. I love the design on my A Bomb, if I have it re annoed to make it easier to sell, the image will be gone.
Seems sill you have set all this anno up then you are thinking of lazer engraving. That needs to be done after.
I would rather spend my cash on having a unique anno done, but then its your choice

i am thinking of possibly laser engraving it after i have it anno'd just because sloth can't do tatoos etc, so i'd rather have a more unique look to my marker than doing what everyone else does, and gets a fade of some sort - or what is becoming more popular, a two tone accent anno, which strangely always seems to envolve a ""white"" anno of some kind.... but that's just me personally i guess...

Just got lucky on my marker was shocked when it turned up and I didnt have to go and collect and pay import tax

lazer engraving

we've got a lazer etching machine at work. havin a play about with barrels and that to see what its like on a rounded surface, as at present we just etch onto flat surfaces. pm me in a week o so, should have some pics to show you. dave
