Somewhere u've never heard of
I'm looking into getting n ION and was wondering what are the best parts to upgrade it with? I've been looking on some sites and have found a list of items that can be upgraded, but am not sure if there are any better parts about, or if I have missed any parts out.

If you think there is any better parts about, or I have missed anything out, would you post with some advice ? :D Or even if it all looks good a post would be nice saying

Q-lock minimum then you will want an OPPS and a new barrel then when you have more cash a QEV and a new board. But anything you like or can afford should make you and your marker play better.

I'd say the important ones are feedneck and trigger. Lots of people opt for a new barrel, too, but the stock one is fine for me.

From there, I'd say an OOPS and then a bolt or QEV to improve efficiency.

maybe a new reg either eclipse star or dye hyper 2:cool: :D
To be quite honest, the ION reg has one of the highest recharge rates of a stock regualtor. I dont think unless you are seriously going to ramp you need a better reg. I get +/- 8 on my stock reg which is good, you can get a AKA 2 litre which is the best, but not the first thing on the list.

When it comes to a bolt, either the Lucky V3 or the new TechT L7 bolt, which is the lightest bolt ever made.

For the board, the Lucky board wins again, so many modes and features you will love it, and its about the same price as the Blackheart.

All the other stuff is a good choice, though if you want to seriously pimp out your gun, get a stage 5 body from lucky, it has eyes, breech, donut all in one, also comes with a aluminium bolt which is based on the V3 bolt, not to mention its bolt out the back, all for £60, cant beat that.

Staying warm on a sunday!

the stock ion reg has the fastest recharge rate out of any regulator out there... stock or not! ive seen the figures!!

when it comes to consistancy and adjustment... thats where it isnt as spot on as others but still very good!

hell why you think they use it on the new shockers!?

when it comes to ion upgrades there are 2 which i would say upgrade before anything else

the bottom line - to an on/off purge system (oops)
and the standard barrel to either a freak barrel or lucky barrel (something which has various bore sizes to match the paint you are shooting)

then after that you can look at a locking feedneck
and possibly a qev

and should you need to for some reason a new board but these are a lot of money for a little bit of extra bits n pieces

should you need anything to upgrade at all for an ion or the ion its self..

speak to jim at warped sports.... not called the ion centre for nothing! ;)
