Is paintball going back to the woods???

i got my copy of PGI throught the door the other day after dropping my subscription for a year (the joys of uni.....long story) and it semes that paintball is going bk to the woods! not only did i see a lot of camo in the design of playing pants and anno jobs on markers but a scary ammount of Rec markers!!!! (ie markers that look like guns)

i would have understood if this was all just advertising but then seening that next month we are going to see a review of the BIG GAME..........

is it time for me to get my war paint and tippmann 98?

i have to say woods paintball is becoming quite popular, lots of people seem to start there and jsut stick to woods, but th ething is in woodsball there isnt much in sponsorship, camera wouldn't be able to follow woodland teams in matches and therefor sponsors names wouldn't be seen easily advertising them... but i do think woods should coem as big as sup air with more sponsors and everything, would be much more intersting

Woodsball is just rediscovering itself. The woodland tournement scene almost died when Sup-air arrived. Thankfully its coming back because without it Sup Air will not get the influx of players it needs

There used to be both camera work and sponsorship to woodball, that's where it all came from and people like Bob Long made their name. I've seen the odd filming of these events, would just require some thought, just as it has for Sup Air.

oh cool, never seen or heard anything about that!

smart parts have already started with a big sponsor of a woodsball team (scottish warriors) and BZpaintball supplies sponsor a few teams but thats all i know of, will only take one or two more big manufacturers to start and they'll all be at it;)

it will, but it won't do it all by itself

As far away from you as possible
Yea in America especially, DYE have made quite a few peices of digital cammo now, we aren't necessarily going back to the woods, there is a lot of mil sim about, thats got more to do with the look than a marker that can chuck paint accuratly.

Woot for woods :D, I want a propper woods leauge :D ( as in a LOT of teams competeing.)
