Can't go wrong on an Ion but to be honest I play a lot of woods these days and can't beat a cocker. They have a much better range and you can pick up an e1 on here for around 110 - 120. Much better gun build than an Ion and a very very good buy these days. Justonce you bought it and it is working don'tmess around with it !! Leave it set up and working !

Have to agree for woodsball get a cocker will not let you down
you can get a 2.5 year old cocker for 150 ish cost £999 new for a eclipse eblade

I guess the good thing about the Ion in this respect is that it would work well in the woods - Maybe not as good as a cocker - But should you ever want to try out or even get fully into speedball then an Ion is perfectly adequate for that too.
