Best barrel I have/have ever used is the SM-1 Orbium 3 by Sanchez Machine, see review on pbreview there is a Eur dealer (not UK) or you can try forums in US, available in a variety of threads. I paid $100 for mine, + less than $10 to ship and it is the cleanest, most acurate and quietest barrel I have come across!

The Sly barrel system is the best I have ever used! The self cleaning ability they have is awesome. The latest freak kits are also very good

If you dont have a lot to spend then i would go for the lucky barrel kit.
If you have a lot to spend then go for the freak

I have owned a freak kit, now I own a un1tec kit. I would never again choose a freak kit over the un1tec. It's much more expensive, heavier, easier to damage (anyone stepped on their bore insert yet?), it's a 2-piece which results in worse results as opposed to the one piece construction of the un1 barrel and to top it off, changing threads is a bitch as buying a new freak back costs more than a single un1tec bore with threading sleeve.

I have got an ego and have got a pipe kit and ive not used it as the two pice shaft was more accurate just get three different backs ive only used my 693 with a 14" front and its fantastic i have others but not needed them yet.

Used Freaks in the past and as for the price you can find some pretty cheap second hand kits around. But with the older kits the inserts have a sharp end and a smooth end so have a look before you stick it on ya gat and the sizes on the side of the insert never seem to match the actual size of the insert!

Shaft 2 piece kits are often overlooked and pretty cheap new.

And i would also recommend a dye ultralite 2 piece.

Never used a pipe so cant comment
