Just thinking about that part of the forum, it doesn't seem to see much action. Have P8ntballers here ever organized group buys? Am sure we'd have the buying power to negotiate discounts.

Ah OK, guess that explains it then. Still, anyone else fancy starting a group buy on something?

If several people are after the same product (say for example a Vlocity Hopper), a deal is negotiated between the forum users and a store that if the users buy a certain amount of hoppers they'll get it at a specially discounted price. Works well with pre-orders for new products as well as anything else.

Group buys are a good idea. We used to do it on scooby net for Subaru stuff.

Seen the odd thing like this in classifieds, for stuff like annodising. Would be pretty cool if people could start doing it more.
