Now if the UK Masters official photographers had been there, I'm sure they would have missed you as well

hey guys,
thanks for all the great comments, its what i wanted to hear. a site cant be perfect straight off.
on that sunday we where invited by somanc, so we mainly shot them. also in future we would try to list the photos by game etc so as to make it easyer for you lot.
as far as getting closer to the action,, well.. these cameras of ours are still pretty new and we have seen what a paintball can do to a lens even with protection. so we where a little reluctant to get to close. it was pretty much a practice for us as we had never shot paintball befor.
we have both played in tournaments befor so know what to expect put its difficult when you are trying to look through a tiny view finder with goggs on while looking for stray paint heading your way.
we will be doing some more shooting at some team practices so we can get right in there for some great shots.
we ill be constantly trying to perfect the site layout to get it right, so please bare with us.

But well done, not an easy sport to photograph and you really have to try and get in there, Invest in good skylight filter to protect the front element of the lens and a camera cover from warehouse express.
And most importantly don't be afraid to get shot.... The guys at the 7 man masters know how much i put myself in spots i will get shot just to get a good photo.

And be careful which one of the Kelly's you photograph, because the others get jealous and shoot you and the camera.lay out is good and easy to scroll thru pics etc
make sure you get more teams photographed other than just team somanc
the next lot of photos will be far more structured, and you will be able to pick through the ones you want to see instead of all of them. thanks for the comments.
