... if you want them to make any more then at the very least put your hand in your pocket and buy it. If the ballers don't buy it then that's the majority of the game's demographic up the river.
I believe in the try before you buy approach. Download it, play it, and if the game is geuninely worth paying for, then I go out and buy it. Havent downloaded GHTP Max'd yet, and wont, because I loved the first so I will continue to support the producers and buy their 2nd game aswell. It can only get better really anyway.
I do this because theres companys (recently one that has completly stiffed gamers, like Akella) that hype up a potentially great game, and then sell it full of crash to desktop errors, and huge bugs that make the game unplayable. You then have paid to wait 2 months for a patch that allows you to actually play the game.
Age of Pirates by Akella is a prime example of this. Glad I didn't buy it.
