mikey you really need to get over this reverse snobbery you have about the ION ..you like it ..well done.. thats up to you that doesnt take away the facts.
lots and lots and lots of people give a **** about build quality. personally i look for build quality in just about everything that i buy,I consider myself lucky because i can pick and choose whatever marker i want to shoot,if i didnt have money though it would be a far better idea to buy and EGO than an ION to say there just as good as each other is patently ridiculous.

Does and ion easily shoot 15bps?
Does a DM6 or 5 or C shoot 15bps?
Awesome ego is made whatever metal and ion has a plastic case, who cares.
and as far as the niave kids and pikeys comment, ive owned an ion so does that mean im a niave pikey kid?
The fact remains the ion will and does perform as well as any other marker out there

dont you ever spend money on luxury mikey ? so what if they all fire 15bps, I wont buy it because its badly constructed and hard to maintain (in comparison) because I care and im prepared to spend money on something because it's nice to have .

What im geting at is there is no need to spend 500 - 700 on a new marker, if you can easily afford it then **** and buy the most shiny thing out there, but im guessing the guy whos looking cant.
So, the ion is perfect can shoot 15bps and as accurate as anything out there.
Its not a matter biting its just i really dont understand peoples problems with them. I understand its not for everyone just the same as i will never own a cocker and thats their choice, but to say dont buy them cos there **** is just plain stupid

Guys no need to bitch about each others markers. The ION is a brilliant marker for its price and keeps up with all the "high-end" guns out there. Its just a shame most people dont realise this and feel it is their duty to protect thier "high end" markers, people also dont realise that Smart Parts has yet again deliverd the goods with the ion. Its like passing a test a C(the ion) is good, pass, satisfactory and meets all the standards. Where as an A(ego, angel, DM) is very good but not a whole 3 times better. I agree on what Dskize says about build quality of higher end guns but the ion is definatly not a gun of lesser build quality.
I think most "high end" gun owners need to get their heads out of their arses when it comes to this.
And yes I do own an ION.
