Oh goody, another "is an ion high-end debate"
My personal opion it takes nore than the ability to shoot 15+ BPS to make a gat "high-end".
Other things such as build quality, reliabilty etc. In these respects the ion is let down. but for the price nothing else comes close.
So in my opinion an ion is not high end but it can compete with high end gats on the field.

dont be ridiculous ,even smart parts dont think its high end ,it serves it's purpose as a starter marker or if you have a decent gun tech on your team it can be your first choice marker ,but lets be honest here its build quality sucks and it doesnt even come close to angel,DM's Ego's when you compare.
Who gives a **** about build quality, you could go out and buy 4 ions for a price of an ego.
Ive owned a whole list of markers, the ion is as good as any other marker out there, simple as.
....remeber it aint the marker your shooting its the guy shooting it
