I wouldnt worry about it... Climate fluctuations have occured since the beginning of time... Scientist's knowledge of climate patterns isnt advanced enough to know whether this is the result of carbon emissions or whether its just a natural occurence.

If global warming DOES kick in, dont worry abuot getting hot, worry about getting cold. The melting of the polar ice caps would lead to the desalination of the gulf stream flow which brings warm water up from the tropics around the UK and Atlantic. If this stops flowing properly (which if desalinated would happen) then there could be catastrophic implications, particularly for the UK. It would be basically like "The Day After Tomorrow"...

Having said that, over time, the salt content of the water in the gulf stream flow has fluctuated, and at times the flow has slowed and even stopped briefly - causing ice ages in extreme cases...

At the end of the day, theres really nothing you can do, put it out of your mind, live for today - forget tomorrow :)

yer i was just about to point that out to everyone....what you just said then:p about glodal warming and day after tomorow business.

But they are saying in the article that the "meltdown" is becoming more rapid than they ever imagined, making the worlds life expentancy lower...

lolz skeet ;) I agree with aran here, the world is changing as we know it and it has everything to do with the way we treat it. I am no eco-warrior but at 15 gotta be worried what the futre holds.

I mean we wont be able to play paintball in -50 ;) well maybe the tippmans would :cool:
