So, you posted Cash, in the normal mail?

Sorry, don't believe anyone would do that. If anyone posted cash then surely they'd sent it recorded delivery at the very least and more likely special delivery.

In either case you have to put your return address on it and so if it hadn't got to the right place and was returned to the post office it would then come back to you.

If the other person signed for it even if it wasnt them and kept it, well, you can contact royal mail and ask for a copy of the signature to check it did go to the right person.

we didnt have a return to sender address on it so the post office must have it if the old lady sent it back to the post office.

But did you send it either recorded or special delivery?

in which case you will have a tracking number. And on the forms the post office SHOULD have made sure you wrote down a return to sender address. If they didn't then they are at fault. (I've sent stuff before where they didnt take a return to sender address so I know they don't always do this).

So hang on.

You KNOW you sent it to the wrong address?

You haven't denied this so far, so I'm guessing you're admitting to putting the wrong address on the envelope?

So, it's entirely your fault that the money didn't go to the right place and yet you're refusing to pay up or return the goods?

You're lucky that this hasn't been reported as theft yet, if it'd been me I'd have already done it.

If you did send it recorded, just give out the tracking number and/or request a copy of the signature from Royal Mail.

If RM do have it, and you have the tab with the tracking details on I'm sure they'll happily return it to you.

No, I think that YOU agreed to buy it, YOU have the air system. Regardless of how old you are (I didn't know you were 14, but it doesnt make a difference), if you come on here and agree to buy something then it's your responsibility to sort it out. Regardless of whether your dad paid for it or if you got your dad to post the money. The deal was with YOU.

Even if you are 14 you need to grow up, accept some responsibility and maybe earn a little respect by sorting it out asap.
