Which is better?

Hi, was gonna upgrade from my current marker (spyder e99 avante with custom bits here n there) and was lookin for a good 2nd hand gun. Any ideas over which is better- an angel 05 speed or an eclipse E1 autococker.
Any help would be much appreciated!!!!

Steer clear of the E1. If you are new to paintball then you will have more chance of carrying out open heart surgery blind than teching an e-blade.

The 05 is a good marker, but again a bit of a pain to fix when it goes wrong.

What is your budget?

If your new to it get an ion

angels are good but like DS said can be a bit of a pain..

yeah- i'll steer clear of the e1!
Can get the angel for £200 in good condition which seems like a good price!
I dont mind having a bit of a challenge- and I'm fairly near to NPF bassets pole which can fix angel stuff when i get really stuck!
An ion is an option- can get for 140 new but theres definately something cool about the angel!
Do you think the angel or ion(with body kit) would be best then?? And can you run an angel off CO2 on fields without O2??(like an ion can)

Ps I could do the heart surgery stuff cause i'm a doc- id be better at that than takin a marker apart!lol

Dude, dont run and ion or an angel on CO2, keep to air

Between the ion and angel, i'd say ion, but you'll get a mixed repsonse off this forum

still its always nice to have a new gun and the ion with dynsaty kit does look pretty cool!!!

Well personally i just dont like the feel of the angels, even the new A1.

Dont get me wrong theres nothing wrong with them and there just as good as any other marker, but just doesnt suit me

I recently sold my ion, but what i liked about it the most is it could look and perform compltely different in a day, just by changing a few things.

Easily and cheap to upgrade, and no matter what the ion haters say it can and will keep up with anything out there...

..remeber it aint the marker its the player

If you have a look around on the clasifieds there are a few brand new ions floatin around for £110 posted.

both are very good markers, but id say an angel is more easy to maintain, (ie clean repair.(removing the bolt to clean is so easy, just pull back pin then flip the top part open! ions are not that user(newbie) friendly tbh. but still both are very very good markers!

Whats wrong with a cocker?
