Capping an Ion for NSPL?

Hey guys,

I've read up that I need to cap my Ion to 15.4bps for the upcoming NSPL. I know what the dwell and recharge rate are but would greatly appreciate an idiot-friendly guide on how to do it, because last time I messed it up so the bolt wasn't going forward far enough to hit the paintball

Yeah saw the thread on the NSPL forums but I couldn't see a definate dwell/recharge rate to set it to. Running an Ion without QEV.

Remember that all paintball guns are like the ladies ( all different) ( except lemon she’s lovely and the only 1 for Lump)

if you set 2 ions up the same there is nothing to say they will both work the same , iv shot some 7.500.000 paintballs through my ion and she’s as slack as a hore, I fart and she fires at 297 fps. but my boys ion that came from Pinky (had say 30000 paintballs through it) needs filling after 200 shots its what it use to.

Thanks for the link. Does anybody have any recommended values I should set the Dwell and Recharge Rate to so the Ion fires at a max of around 15bps?

I'm not so good with this area of the gun

now don’t " me on this but the ion only fires at 17 bps when its set up 100%. 15 bps is what the average player with a ion can get out of it and out the box smart parts set them at 8.

as of yet the marshals at the nspl will not pull you for a shot or 2 over the 15.4 limit ( im a marshal) but you start hitting 17+ and we will bust your butt, next year you will have to be no more that 15.4 and we will have little do-hickys to test for it .

come and see me nick or garf from "Bridport Synapse" or any marshal and we will set and test your gun for free ok its what we do at the NSPL ok chap

yer you put the rate of fire UP and it will slow the gun down
