Hi, i am just about to buy an E Tek, just want to know the opinions of some other people that have some or have fired them.

well we are sponsered to use them, and i think they are great, very effiecient reliable and accurate (with the right barrel).
I prefer microswitch triggers on markers so i use my etek over my 06 ego.

So what barrel would u recommend? I would personally say a freak but im open to other opinions.

i prefer my 06 but its horses for courses, all eclipse markers shoot awesome
etek is no different.
only mainly because im not a massive fan of flat triggers.
once i get an 06 trigger for it it will probably become my main marker.
I use a 14 or 16 inch ultralite .695 or .692 and they rock
plus ultralites match the style of eclipse markers rather than freaks - personal opinion.
yeah we all shoot the freak sets and they are really accurate, i have a 16 inch freak tht dave got cut down into a 15 inch one and it had made my etek loads better.
When we first started using the eteks after we came off the shocker i was worried about the accuracy because the shocker is very accurate, but as soon i had switched to this barrel it has been fine.

its just the same as any ego fine with paint
most decent paint from draxxus / tomahawk / pmi / zap will be good
