I doubt either of them will be lost. They are the distribution centres for the entire of europe.

Also, what would be the point of buying two companies then closing one? You would never regain the amount of money spent buying it by just flogging its assets. I could see them buying both and then seriously pumping money into the european market. Perhaps merging the companies would be the likely option?!?
