Ok over the last 2 days my reg has totally emptied itself of all the air in the tank, it wasn’t leaking or anything.
All I can think of is the burst disc going but I’m guessing this would be a rather loud event, which I would notice.
Any ideas what’s happened guys or is this usual for tanks to empty themselves overtime?????

cheers

Tanks don't empty them selfs - I leave mine pressurised for weeks on end.

Maybe you have a very slow leak.

Try and fill it up (Very slowly, then you can see if your burst disk has gone.)

If it fills up, leave it for an hour (For it to cool down) then write down what pressure it is at and check it in another hour.

You could use a damp sponge to test where the regulator is leaking from.

Hope that helps.

Lets start from the top.

What air system are you using?

OK, on the whole, with adjustable regs I find that at the end of the day you will need to dial out the reg so that theres no output pressure to stop/reduce the amount of slow leak.

MY Niroduck Extreme, is an adjutable preset style jobbie

It will hold 4000psi for ever.

Look on your guages...in teh side is very small vent hole.

Put a wet thumb over it and you may feel a leak.

Just ahd to change teh guage on my PMI reg.

You probably have a slight leak, very common. Give it a fill and pop the reg it into a bowl of water, you'll see some small bubbles usually from the end.
