agreed whilst the article says these 'youth groups' use paintball as a means of team bonding etc- it doesn't ever imply it's training or responsible for turning them. I think this one should just slide by, no need to get hot under the collar about it.

Even though we are not open to the public only to paintball players...

We have had 2 meetings with special branch to beware of this type of thing and been given a 24 hour maned phone number to ring if any such thing should accrue.

Its pretty scary to think that this is all going on on our doorstep.

Not to bring a down to this thread. But an article like this could have been taken way out of portion by the newspaper. Yes, they may have been Muslims and yes, they may have shouted terrorist slogans. Ask yourselves how many times have you shouted inappropriate slander when in the heat of a very adrenaline filled environment for the sake of role play.

Although this is very bad publicity for the sport as a whole, I think once again it has done no real harm to the integrity of the men and women that consider themselves sportsman and athletes within the industry.

So boys and girls, chill, I’m am very sure there was yet another bit of good news straight after on Monday which didn’t affect paintball. In fact I’m very sure anyone who read this article will sure enough have forgotten it already.
