in London i got really pissed off with this- it happens at every tourney and hopefully this thread will help a little:-

1.you do not need to fire a whole hopper on the chrony and beep after beep gets really annoying!!!!!!!!! 10 balls at the most you need then bugger off

2.if your gunna rip your gun to see if it chops etc dont do it in the way of the chrony go in between/at the side of the chrony so people can still F**kin chrony!

what i do (and wish everyone else would do too):-
1.cue up in an ordily fashion

2.dont over crowd the chrony space

3.take off your barrel sock when you get in the netting (take finger off the trigger)

4.turn gun on and hopper when your 2/3 spaces next in line

5.put allen key in velocity adjuster and hold it in place

6.-At the same time put your barrel on the chrony sensor and fire one ball at
a time and then adjust accordinaly (you can adjust and fire simutaneously)

7.then when you have your reading step in a space where people can still chrony and rip your loader into the targets to see if it chops

8.put barrel sock on and turn off gun/loader etc

9.then last but not least F**K OFF!

now that everyone who has read this thread-go to other forums you know and create a new thread and then Link my thread so the word gets around how to Chrono all the way around the world and can save time patience and paint

I dont mind if he/she shoots 5 boxes in the chrono area -aslong as he/she isnt effecting the chrony cue by all means but rinsing over the chrony (delaying everyone else chrono-ing) really makes my blood boil

you'll be glad to know that there wont be a hold up in the CPL as its only ever a team at a time

your point however is valid, its not like there is a need to show off now. people used to do it when there was no rof cap to inflate their ego if they could fire at insane rates (legally or not) but it wont happen now, so get one with it

I did that once, I'd had a problem with my halo and needed to make sure that it was feeding ok, and there wasnt any other place to actually shoot.

However, I stood to the side so people could still use the crony...

This is something that bugs the hell out of me as well. We watched in total bemusement at CC as people just dumped hopper after hopper for no reason in the chrono area, while holding up the queue.
We even watched one guy in there with no goggles using a fluffy stick as a barrel plug.

Is there any reason why we cant have a seperate area set aside at tournaments for people to waste as much paint as they like ??

Just to be pedantic......you need to fire a few shots between adjustments to allow the air to adjust and to settle at the correct velocity

But you are spot on elsewhere.........if this is a problem for people, why not lobby the organisers just to put a shooting range next door to the chronie station, that way muppets can rip off a box of paint and it wouldn't affect anyone else?
