So seeing as all my efforts are now going into [plug] The Forum Battle [/plug] i thought id do a little write up on my experiences of CC06.

Firstly i'd like to thank Sabre, awesome group of guys and really enjoying playing with all of you...yes even you maddog ;)

Fields

Generally i thought the fields were really good, i didnt even mind the chronic field which was on the football astro turf stuff. 1 gripe i did have was the DYE filed i think it was and maybe the TOMAHAWK field was that it was XL turf at the start gates then grass, depending on what foot wear you wore you either slipped on the XL then got grip on the grass or vice versa.

Trade Stands

I hate them...why have them there pointless ;) only joking there only reason i dislike them is i have an uncontrable urge to spend loads in them and shopping with LUMP isnt the best thing to do ;) DYE could retire on the amount i spent with them..:D

Food & Drink

Yes they were both nice but the prices were a bit high as alex soon found out :p Oh and the CORONA ski team did a good job...lol :D

Organisation

Yes, well organised big up to Wendy and andy worked their socks off all the time they were there. oh and the french are lazy ;) The netting was shocking the way it was put up, there was a big lack of planning there but when it did go all tits up it was soon sorted.

Ref's

Well i didnt have a single bad call on myself. Sabre i think only had 1 1for1 which was justified..i think. The general feeling was that the 1for1 was geting used too much but i think the refs were pretty spot on most of the time.

Think ive coverd the general things.

Like to thanks tom from conspire too, thanks for the flyers and hoodies.

Big thanks to the FLC ;) ;)

Lump and Lemon, was a pleasure getting to know you alot better, your both truly awesome people....but lump....battle for the minge will remain a favorite quote of mine :)

Oh and thanks to al the people who came up and introduced yourselve to me.its always nice to put a face to a name

Reffing was IMO the best I've seen anywhere this year. Strict - we got 7 1-for-1s, generally for annoying things like pack hits - but mostly fair and consistent. I think the fact that there's no "how awful was the reffing" thread (as normally pops up after every event) shows that the refs did a good job.

We had quite a few dodgy 1-4-1 calls, but too be honest whining on about them wont help now! lol Like 2 of our guys in the snake, one mid and one at the start of it - our guy in the mid snake was shouting back to our guy at the start of the snake, relaying info and they both got pulled for receiving "sideline coaching" - but hey, the refs have to do work under tough conditions so you roll with it.
