I've just made a new account... purchased Half Life... and what the frig!? You have too BUY Counterstrike?!?!?!?!?!

I'm not really THAT bothered... I wanted to get it too play Natural-Selection... not only is steam poop, ok it's better than it used too be but now they are charging you for "free" addon?

Aye - I loved NS... wish they could get the forums back up lol! Gotta love killing cloak noobs, "how did you see me I was cloaked" lol... Been with NS since the beginning - gotta say I would love it even more if they had more things from 1.04... wonder what NS2 is going too be like aswell

computer games robbo!

Half life came out and revolutionised first person gaming. It was immense. Then the same programmers bought out a load of free games based on the same physics engine as half life and it bought a whole new gaming culture to the world.

TFC was one of the first and imo the best add on for Half Life but that died alas. CS and NS were the next one's i always played.

Thankfully i grew out of computer gaming. I got quite pale for a while not going out into sunshine and my mum banned me from the computer. Something i thank god for every day

haaaaaah cs was good

but quake 1 (quakeworld)

was the best gaming experience ever created, so fast and SO much skill required that totals teenage gamers could only wish they could of competed

The new version, CS:Source does cost money, but it's on a whole new engine.
