If you do gradually harder sets of weights then you will quickly build to it.

If your max is 65kg atm do; 10x 45, 8x50, 6x55, 4x60, 2x65 or something like that. Starting with a few reps on a light weight, then less reps and more weight. I have been doing that for a while so i start on 60 take it up in 10kgs so we end up on 2x 100kg which is a hell of an effort which is what u want.
Tom, please re-read my prior post.:)

A collegue of mine, soend around £100 a month on suppliments.
Not being a Gym person (not that I wouldnt like to be), I am not fully versed in such things...however, i do know that he uses Creatine (make sure you research and buy a decent one) to great effect and also Thermobol I believe or something that sounds like that. He is not teh kind of guy who would do anything...erm...Risky shall we say..so, I guess assuming you "always read the label", then Creatine is all good.

To anyone who knows...how much of a work out do you need to do, to use Creatine?
I want to do some work with weights at home (cant get to the Gym right now), and wondered if Creatine can be used in milder workouts, or do you have to be a full blown 3 plus workouts a week, kinda person, to use suppliments?

I think Baca said he broke the 400 pound barrier which I have done a few times (on Smith machine) but I don't think I can do now but my bet would be that Buddha could possibly do even more.
Christ on a bike!!

I have only just joined a new gym that has a Smith Machine, if you put on 400lbs say, does it require the force to push 400lbs? As its got those pully things. As I can always bench much more on the smith than free bars, that i was expecting as it requires more control, however it is much easier, so i thought the pullys might act as making it slightly easier?

Also on the smith do you include the bar in the weight as that im sure doesnt weigh the 15kg it says it does on the machine when you lift it on its own, do the pullys cancel that one out?

So many questions so little time!!
